If Don does kill himself, it will be jumping out of a window.

Did I miss Ken & Peggy's "pact" from an earlier episode or did that just get revealed?

Also is Ken Cosgrove the most likeable character in this show? He seems like a genuinely nice guy who's only big secret is writing aspirations. In which he has shown talent and a little early success. Maybe he'll be the one to go "out the window" or throw someone out?
I really like cosgrove, he's always been swell to me

Isn't Pete's gun one of those long barrel type hunting shotguns? it would be hard to kill yourself with that i think.

Compared to a revolver at least.

I keep thinking there's going to be a murder that gets explained as a suicide this season. There must be some kind of death right?

And yeah Don jumping out the window at the end of the series would be a perfect ending. I've heard the plan is the show will go to season 7. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm still waiting for Peggy and Ginsberg to hit the sheets there is a lot of sexual tension between them when they talk and she is obviously a shiska.

Wait why are people talking about Pete committing suicide? I didn't see any hints that he was depressed, or at least not that depressed. I know life insurance was mentioned, but I just think that was a plot device to get Pete over to his friends house again so he could see the man's wife.

Not even getting into the fact that he really doesn't seem like the type.

As for Megan, I found this episode weird. Unless I just wasn't paying much attention, in prior episodes it seemed that she was happy working at SCDP. Now all of a sudden she is unhappy and quits?

Pete seems like someone who is never satisfied and always has this internalized angst about him so i am guessing that's why people are talking about it of course not to mention all the clues that have laced in this season.

I don't know of all the people at SCDP that i could see committing suicide on purpose it would probably be Pete.

I don't know whats going on with Megan but she does seem unsure about a lot of her professional life maybe it's because she actually "won" something in a way but she wasn't completely satisfied because even tho it was her idea Don pitched it so that could be a source of frustration for her.

But i can imagine there is a lot of stress with that job since her husband is her boss and the way other people treat her at the office.

Of course at that age it's easy to be unsure of what you want to do in life.

So as of the latest episode I'm really beginning to dislike Betty. She's just a shit starter and it seems like she might not be over Don, which could be why she gained weight. Or rather, thinks that she has the right to be happy, but Don doesn't. I'm glad we haven't seen much of her. I loved what Sally told her about how she was shown pictures and stuff of Anna.

It does seem to me like Don might be a little threatened by Ginsberg as well, I'm wondering how that will play out.

Finally, I thought Jane complaining to Roger at the end was ridiculous. I get why she was upset, but it's not like he raped her. She could of turned him down, she chose to sleep with him. Heck, he even bought her a new apartment when she really didn't deserve one.

I can't believe anyone can even bring themselves to take anything about that seriously. That fat suit looks silly and, the kid is a far better actor than the dame in the fat suit.

Putting the show in the time slot after The Killing just makes every dumb thing Mad Men tries even worse.

I Oh god i hate Betty so much right now possibly even more than i did before.

Of course the fact that she reminds me of my step mom probably doesn't hurt.

Unfortunately for what we have seen i think Betty is starting to rub off on Sally in all the wrong ways and i am really disappointed in her childish behavior even for her age, but i get she is lashing out.

    why she gained weight
The benign growth she had was on her thyroid.
It throws your metabolism out of whack, making you gain weight more rapidly.

I just think that was a plot device to get Pete over to his friends house again so he could see the man's wife.
    that was exactly why.

While she did have a thyroid problem she has been depressed this season.

    possible they are inter-related somehow.

Betty has always prided herself on her looks and her figure and losing that so fast even at her age has got to be depressing.

So she decided to eat even more.

Honestly Betty should be happy as a clam she has a nice rich husband who is a good looking guy for his age and three healthy kids.

I basically have one thing to say about this latest episode: The fuck did they do to Kinsey?

I can now never watch older episodes of Mad Men with Paul and not think about that douchey head shaved look he has, with a little piece of braided hair it looks like..it looks like he just became a jedi padawan or something.

    Hare Hare....Hare Hare....

The one thing Mad Men was lacking was .... sitar music???

Loved the Don & Joanie segments, and the Ali Kahn flowers = smooth. Let's see...takes off work with Joan, joyrides in a suped up Jag, gets hammered at bar and gets home late without calling wifey so he is in trouble again. What does he do? Buys flowers to cheer her up, and by her I mean JOAN!! = classic Don. Great epsode, even with the Krishna Krishna Kinsey.

Also one thing I'm confused about..what is happening with Lane? Why does he owe money? Was this ever even addressed in previous episodes? It feels like it came out of nowhere.
