According to his father's version of events, Zimmerman didn't "stop and confront Martin" - he lost sight of Martin then stopped and got out to check a street sign at which point Martin jumped him.

So basically they said the kid was Batman.

There are several problems with their story - the most obvious being that there appears to be no place for Martin to have hidden near the site of the shooting.

It's also inconsistent with the testimony of the young woman who was talking to Martin on his cell.

I mean the part where Zimmerman says that Treyvon disappeared somehow and then came up behind him to confront him.

Although i wouldn't blame Treyvon if he did i mean for all he knows Zimmerman could have been a pedophile stalking him.

I'm thinking he went with whatever made him not look bad. Either way one cop didn't buy it and thought he should have been charged. That says a lot right there imo

You do know that its against the rules for a neighborhood watch member..to A) Confront anyone. B) Carry a gun.

As a matter of fact news has leaked that he told fellow watch members this..and they were all briefed by police when they formed the watch.

By the way if I confront you in a parking lot with a loaded gun if I think you parked illegally..its would probably be called armed robbery at best.

And at worst if a scuffle broke out and i shot you..it would be called murder.
