That scene was in the Fincher version, and was significant in the film and story. For example, in the first book Lisbeth gets a tattoo to commemorate being attacked, which I thought was very significant, but it didn't feature at all in either movie adaptation.
Having devoured the books and having seen all the movies thus far, I can tell you this is a MUST buy for me. Denise sounds like she's really got a handle on this series. Can't wait for this and I gotta say, I think this is going to become my new first graphic novel I'll be giving to non-comics reading friends. Great entrance in to comics, potentially.

Sounds promising, and Manco is a great choice for artist on this. The Bermejo cover looks gorgeous, as well.
Can't wait, really need to finish off the swedish films
