    Default No More Heroes

Read this article over at Bleedingcool. He has a really good attitude to the whole Demonoid thing. Anyhow thought the book looked pretty cool and kinda admired the guy so ordered a print copy. Easy enough with being in the UK. Anyone read it yet. I'm not one of those guys who downloaded it and I'm waiting for it to arrive to read it.

I was disappointed to see that this wasn't a comic book adaptation of the video game of the same name.

I bought a .pdf when Bleeding Cool first ran the story and enjoyed it. Both the writer and artist have lots of potential. I'd like to see future issues be a bit denser, as the first issue seemed a little light on content, but all in all, it's a solid effort, and I'll be back for the next one.

Also, it's very cool that the writer is looking at the Demonoid situation as a positive, but people really need to pay the man if they want to read the story. When people create their own material and put their money where their mouths are, they deserve some support.

Hi. I'm Gordon, the writer of No More Heroes. Seeing this thread was a hell of a nice surprise, I can tell you!

I can't say enough how grateful I am for all the people who've read that article and gotten in touch to pick up the first issue and help us out. It's heart warming stuff (and I'm Scottish, so take into account how bloody freezing it is here and how hard it is to warm up our cold hearts)!

The first issue not being dense enough is a fair point. The splash pages in the second half of the comic were intended to be a 'visual release' for readers after the talky head sections (and a showcase for Caio's brilliant art) but I appreciate that they came at the expense of plot progression. I can promise issue two has a lot more going on AND an exploding polar bear.
