OMG she stole one of red she hulks Streaks DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!
So far, so good.
Ah, there we go--finally talk about the new Aquaman villain. Or is that villains?Originally Posted by CBR
So we've got one from the Middle East, one from Russia, one connected to Uganda, one from Atlantis and one from parts unknown. Sounds pretty international. I'm thinking a group that either protects the environment and/or the Earth--or a group of international operatives protecting the world from superhuman terrorists.
i'm so glad i dropped this title when i did, this "others" storyline doesn't interest me in the slightest.
SPACE FOR RENT!
Next up, villains! This arc sounds awesome.
I'm completely intrigued by The Others.
"Gargantua, stop! We're... friends!"
- Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman
I'm starting to get intrigued by the Others, but I'd rather see them in full color.
Ya'wara's tattoo is reminiscent of Aqualad"s and it seems as if a power is emanating from it also.
Dorothy: How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking.
Gotta love those Wizard of Oz quotes
So what exactly is The others?
What kind of group are they, what;s their purpose, etc?.
The Other League is the name of the arc... we don't know the actual name of the group, yet.
They are a team of heroes Aquaman was with when he first started out, before he became AQUAMAN and joined the Justice League.
Their purpose? It seems each member has a mystic item which I assume they use in combat.

- Kahina The Seer - Middle East
Johns also teased Reis and Prado's design for Kahina the Seer, the moral compass of The Others with the gift of future sight.
"Ivan and Joe designed the most elegant and stunning member of the Others when they tackled Kahina the Seer," Johns said. "Originally from Tehran, the Seer was once the conscience of the Others. Named after her prophetic vision, the Seer often uses in in conjunction with her skills with a sword. The Seer has been inactive for the last few years, her whereabouts and activities unknown to Aquaman. Until now."
Reis and Prado's design of Kahina the Seer features a woman in a flowing robe grasping a deadly-looking sword. No other details were revealed about The Others, but readers will discover more about the team when "The Others" begins on March 28 with "Aquaman" #7.
- Prisoner of War - Unknown
- The Operative - Unknown
The Source further confirmed the Operative is the most secretive and connected of The Others, with an unknown country of origin, deep connections to every known government and the ability to call in favors from agencies like the FBI, MSS and the Internal Security Organization of Uganda.
- Vostok-X - Russia
"Conceived in a controlled test aboard a Russian space station, the man known as Vostok-X was genetically designed to be the perfect cosmonaut," "Aquaman" writer Geoff Johns told DC. "Heightened endurance, enhanced strength and intelligence and most importantly to the scientists overseeing the project, he was psychologically programmed through intense experimentation to embrace human isolationism. Vostok struggles with making emotional connections with other people."
There you go. And with Ya'wara from Brazil, it'd pretty safe to say the team is an international team of heroes. I'm assuming Prisoner of War is from the United States - due to the dog tags, but my assumptions may be wrong.
