Yeah come October November Marvel will have to do something impressive to recapture the top 20. If the #0 month is true DC are going to own September.

Really? Hawk & Dove's final issue out sold it. That's not a good sign.

And it looks like a lot folks jumped off some titles in the 1,000s.

LOL Men of War gained readers for its final issue.

Yes we will shall see. I think marvel is headed for a reboot
Why? What do they have to fix aside from Black Panther, New Warriors and X-Men that won't stop dying in annoying alternate universes (looking at you Synch)

With the whole AVX and phoneix ordeal it makes sense to me but the avengers line is out of whack. It will be interesting to see what they do after AVX . Avengers assemble dropped 47.1% from it's first issue

Have any revised figures been released for the returnable titles now that the return period has expired on several issues?
    Pull list:
Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Worlds' Finest, My Little Pony, The Flash, Animal Man, Birds of Prey, Lone Ranger

Is it one of those issues where Marvel double-ships #1 and it counts on the charts as twice as many as was ordered?

I believe the figures for issues 1,2 &3 after returnability is factored in are available on http://www.comichron.com in the YEARLY sales chart for 2011

I don't think that Avengers Assemble had any free issues shipped. I think that it may increase in sales for issue 3 because of the surprise team that appears. Bendis has teased that this issue will reveal the next book he's writing

That last issue of Men of War was pretty much obviously an issue of Frankenstein that was repurposed, maybe it was an inventory book.

I'd say Men of War suffered from an identity crisis.

Default DC Comics Month-to-Month Sales: March 2012

Sales of the average DC Universe title are at 32,897 units in March, which is well within the spectrum of the last few years, as the average-sales charts at the end of the column show. Likewise, DC’s total unit and total dollar sales are firmly back in familiar territory. Of the individual “New 52″ titles, 18 sold fewer than 20,000 units in March, up from 14 in February. Also notably in this context, the overall DC Universe imprint had 32 titles below the 20K mark in March 2012, which is three more than it did in March 2011 and more than twice the number from March 2010.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like only 1 and 2 are final so far.

The Beat has a sales analysis for April 2012.

I see a lot of poorly selling books that should be on the chopping block.
