Commented already in another thread, but what great creative teams. Level of excitement now for each book is unreal.

Loved swierczynski work on cable and bloodshot also has that mix of military scifi, I just know he'll be great on that book.
A and A also sounds like a lots fun.

All is looking good for this company so hopefully they can sell some comics and get these characters off the ground.

Now this is how you relaunch a line.

Only thing is Henry isn't exactly the fastest artist IIRC.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

When I had heard that Valiant was giving it another go, I was very skeptical. They did put out a good amount of stuff in the 90s but also a lot of crap. The Acclaim stuff wasn't great either, except Quantum And Woody. I didn't think Dark Horse did much with Solar and Magnus. But now, seeing all the creative teams and the books that are coming out, I will probably try all of these titles. With good creators, it looks like they are trying to do this the right way.

In their defense, most of the "crap" came after Jim Shooter was ousted. The first 2 years of Valiant was really unbelievable stuff.

Duane Siwidzilerieksi (sp?)? I guess he got knocked off Birds of Prey. Don't like the current and former DC/Marvel-ness of this relaunch.

Oh well, at least there's the other two - X-O and Harbinger. Bring it!

Can't wait until May. I've already preordered my FCBD Valiant issue.

The creative teams are fine, nothing to write home about or anything but a nice group of creators that should be able to write some fun stories within these titles, hopefully they turn out really good and steal some market share away from Marvel/DC sometime down the road. Either which way, I'm just excited to see a new company come around to revive some characters for a whole new generation of readers, it'll be nice to be there from the beginning.

Swierczynski had some potential but didnt manage to write anything good for Marvel. Cable was pretty crappy overall.

Van Lente's stuff i read (apart from Incredible Hercules with Greg Pak) was awful (the new Power-man, ugh?).

Definately not looking to purchase any new stuff by these guys.
