Wedding Bells Chime For Liu's "Astonishing X-Men"

In a new teaser released by Marvel, it looks as though a wedding isn't far off for Marjorie Liu's run on "Astonishing X-Men," but who, from Gambit to Northstar, might be tying the knot?

well, it certainly won't be Rogue and Gambit.

Romance is fine in small doses but

X Men are turning into the soppy comics in the Marvel U.

I thought the same thing. He was pretty lame in the Alpha Flight mini that just finished.

I'm shipping Karma and Warbird for this one. Warbird will need some sort of legal status and Karma will be all about it.

To be fair, X-Men has always been the soap opera of comics.

I think it'll be Northstar and his boyfriend. It's the only possibility that makes sense.

If he had done it of his own will I'd have appreciated the sentiment more. Sadly, he just played the victim it seemed.

Amongst all the event nonsense in the x-books this summer thank god for this title. First we get an actual interesting line up, then the Marauders and now a Marvel wedding, and a gay one at that. I'll even overlook the price point.

Of course Marvel will cheapen it though with their usual sensationalist hype.
