Looks good. I wonder if Manhattan is going to have his undies on in this story, or if he's gonna freeball it like in the old days.
I like the uniforms, but am surprised to see Nite Owl in his movie costume. As much as I liked it in the film, it's quite different from the comic uniform and this is a prequel to that. Ozymandias is wearing his comic uniform (I think, anyway...been ages since I read it).
i do not agree with silks attire. at all. no class. she's obviously not the classiest but still it doesn't even look like a super hero costume just a bad top & skirt combo.
and that is why Lee Bermejo is in my top 5 fav comic artist of all time. the shading and detail on Rorshachs coat alone is amazing
people too offen right off his stuff as too photoshoped but its just the color he does a ton of the shading himself with inkwash and such
if anyone cares here is his personal blog :) http://leebermejo.blogspot.com/
I'm not conviced with Ozymandias face, but that's a minor quible. The rest is astonishing.
Comedian's lower lip looks weird to me but otherwise that's awesome.
edit: wait, why is the blue penis covered up?
Mainstream comics (marvel, dc) wont allow nudity in there comics in theis day and age
of course there are exceptions to evrey rule (thankfuly)

Wow. This goes straight to my wallpaper.
I wish Lee Bermejo will draw everything.
It's weird seeing Nite Owl looking that ripped. He was always chunky.
First impression: It's an excellent piece, looks great, unlike other comic characters to me Watchmen has for the most part existed exclusivity as depicted by Dave Gibbons (in this medium anyway) that it kind of got frozen or locked there in my mind, and to see it rendered like this initially strikes me as off, or excessive.
As probably the writing will too, at first. It's really just something to get used to (if I want to pursue these characters further).

This looks good. Great choice for the Rorsharch series. I will definitely be picking this up.
As much as I want to steer clear of the Before Watchmen, the creative teams are going to be too tempting for me to stay away.
