WHY? Their site was simple and easy to navigate. Now its a mess. And its not like it looks any fancier or more attractive.

Also, how in the actual F*** can i see all the comics they publish each Wednesday? It used to be so simple. Browse > Comics > DC and BAM, it had every Wednesday for the month and for the next 2-3 months and you could see what was gonna get published in each one.
Now i cant find such a catalog.
Layout, good. Navigation is still simple if one takes but a few minutes to accustom themselves to it. Only thing I'd suggest is to have a "next" button on specific title solicits, moving you on to the next month's issue. And clicking on a specific day in the calandar needs to filter out everything except what's being released on that day. Doesn't matter where you click it still shows everything released that month. I'm thinking this is just a bug though since the site's labeled beta.
Loss of message boards, confirmation of social interaction only through Facebook/Twitter, sadness. But expected.

There's a 'site feedback' button in the lower right hand corner if you want to voice your opinion on it.
Grandparents dead - please no jokes
make mine DC, thanks
Boy i cant wait for the moment i accidentally hit "like" on something and it appears on my facebook page ruining my life.
"lol he reads comics!"
Yeah, comics arent so big around these here parts.
No message board
NO CARE!
The site is honestly pretty good. If their aim is to make a nice clean presentation to potential new readers, then it should do fine with that. Solicitations? A new reader isn't going to be concerned about that - they probably don't even know what the term means. But big bright banners for key DC franchises, as well as a direct link to buy digital comics right there in your face? Definitely something that will sway potential new readers.

I'm kind of sorry to see the complete list of graphic novels go, but maybe that'll be back eventually. That's about it, though.

I can't figure it out either. The only thing that I could come up with is to click the "On Sale Date" button. It doesn't matter which date you pick for the month you want because it just lists all the books in reverse chronological order, unalphabetized. It used to be the simplest thing in the world before to navigate the solicits; now it's just a total mess. Aside from that, it seems to be adequate so far.
Current favorites:
DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy
People, People! Calm down. It's never going to perfect the first day. Let them work out the kinks and bugs. If you find bugs, have problem to navigate and find what you want. Submit it through the feedback function. If you have concrete examples to how things can improve then explain them. You can use simple mock-ups to show what you mean. And be polite about it. Ranting is not going to change anything.
I like the new site overall. A little to much focus on tv and movie. Resulting in a pretty shallow browsing function for the comics and graphic novels. The search function has some problems as well. Though I like the new site overall.
I've already commented using their feedback function, though as there's no "submit" button AFTER you enter text there's no way to see if it actually went through.
As with others, my main complaint with the new site, over and above the fact it is far too cluttered and busy, is that I can't find the solicits for any given week. My second and related issue, is that I'm 48 and the on-sale dates are listed in print that's so faint that I can barely see it, let alone read it.
Some issues may be the result of functionality not being implemented yet, but others seem to be the result of what I consider a poor design.
I really want to be able to see what books are available in a given week of my choosing - and preferably in a list rather than in thumbnails so they can get all the books on the screen at once.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.
There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.
