All of these recent launches and relaunches are pulling me away from Marvel and DC, although DC is definitely getting the shorter end of the stick.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

Why are we not seeing the prices of these books?
That harbinger cover looks amazing, glad they kept the dove on the logo. Also I see pete is still driving that jalopy.

Awesome cover...great to see the old ride too. Can not wait for Harbinger. XO looks like a winner too. Looking forward to the other two titles being announced.

Really, $3.99? That in itself will be reason for people to pass up on these books, $3.99 is just way too much for an upstart company (and yes, they are an upstart company) to charge for a comic book. First off, the book won't cost that much to print and they could easily make a profit off of $2.99 and the difference of a single dollar could be the difference of several thousand readers for your product. I'm slightly disappointed in Valiant for choosing to charge that much for their books, but it will be interesting to read the defense posts by those who are convinced otherwise. ;)

Depends how many pages, but I agree a 2.99 price point would bring more readers. That being said, I will probably pay it anyway just like I am for the Kirby: Genesis books.

Yeah, I'll definitely add these books to my pull list since I'm always up for a good non-Marvel/DC universe of colorful characters, but these books would have to really knock my socks off to keep me beyond the first few issues at $3.99. Technically speaking, I've given up on Atlas Comics thanks to their pitiful customer service and lackluster books, I'm not reading anything from BOOM anymore with the Stan Lee books gone, and I've dropped 3 recent titles from my DC cravings and am now down to 8 monthly DC books, so I guess I could fit 4 new books into the rotation at $3.99 a pop. They would just have to really impress me for me to keep them on full time.

Look at my signature...I still havent replaced most of those. I have quite a few openings on my pull list thanks to the geniuses in editorial at Marvel and some less than remarkable New 52 reboots.

Haha, well, looks like you and Marvel have some beef. Personally, I'm digging the "DCnU" as a whole, I'm loving the Justice League book, Batman, Detective Comics, Action Comics, Superman, Legion of Super Heroes, Legion Lost, and Aquaman, but I've dumped The Flash, Wonder Woman, THUNDER Agents, The Dark Knight, Batman and Robin, and a few others. I've been livid with Marvel since they started the whole "mega event" trend years and years ago, I went back to them in 2010 for the "Heroic Age" but left swiftly when I saw that the books weren't any different.

I tend to stay away from the big 7 books, and was dipping my toes in the Wildstorm waters but have found them disappointing. Loving Demon Knights and hoping for some improvement on Stormwatch, but that's about it. I think at this point you just dont get original vibrant work anymore from most of the big 2. So I will be Valiantly Vigilant this summer.

With that price I'll try-out all 4, then reduce to the best 2.
$4 is why I don't buy much dynamite and idw books. Image is still the cheapest indie company around.

I'm really interested in Harbinger the most so far, but that Cary Nord art is hard to pass up. While $2.99 would be the dream price, I'd be willing to accept $3.50.
