As long as it's not Richard.
I don't know what to make of this? The fact that Loeb said its gonna be a S***storm makes me worried
A Happy supporter of Indie comics and B-list heroes

It's not Rich, so I'm not all that interested. Still, it's Cosmic Marvel so I'll be there anyway
I Will Raise my Throne above the Stars of your Gods
I am not interested in a guy in a Nova suit, wake me when Nova is in a book.
Pain shared is divided, joy shared is multiplied
Nice. Going to SXSW for this on Sunday.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

So much for the whole "If it doesn't Avengers or X-Men in the title, it won't tie in"
People really need to stop dissing of Jeph Loeb. He's gone through a lot.
And while I prefer Richard Rider I'm sure if it's this new guy it'll be good as well.
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
Oh good another tie-in.
Schmitty's Evil Twin.
its still NO where near as many tie ins as fear itself or secret invasion,
avengers, new avengers, secret aven, aven academy, uncanny x-men, wolverine and the x-men, x-men legacy, X-men, generation hope, AVX versus, and this
while fear itself had almost ever book marvel published and 10 mini series to go with it so lets be thankful :)

newsarama quoted Loeb about the new Nova about his appearance in the USM cartoon, "Loeb described Sam Alexander as a character with 'full-blown attitude,' suggesting that he is the 'brash and boastful' team member".
sounds just like richard rider from his debut and his characterization from new warriors.
Hoping that this "new" Nova is NOT Richard Rider, but his younger brother Robbie. Following his brother's horrifically heroic sacrifice (stuck in the collapsing/disappearing but probably undying Cancerverse), he's got huge shoes to fill, both on Earth and in space. With DC doing away with the idea of legacy heroes, Robbie as the new Nova could fill that narrative gap. He could be like Kyle Rayner, Wally West, Quasar, Tippy-Toe and Miles Morales when they took on the mantles of Barry Allen Flash, Hal Jordan Green Lantern, Captain Mar-Vell, Monkey Joe, and Ultimate Spider-Man. While looking up to their predecessors accomplishments, that humility allowed them to do a few more things with their powers than their inspirations did (well, other than early stages Miles).
