Now, not only are HP higher, but there is all the death-proofing.

I feel that PVP agents should be equipped with one every turn weapon, one cool-down weapon, one cool-down gadget, and one of some other thing that either has a cooldown or is a quick action. Otherwise the PC will just spam the wrong stuff over and over when it controls your team.

PS: My Inf. WC Phoenix and Bruiser Torch got SLAIN overnight - 9 losses of 10 fights. Interesting, since I usually go about 50/50 with Blaster Torch. Bears some further investigation - is it having a Bruiser that makes me easier to kill, or was it the tinkering with my overall hero classes?
What sort of Agent are you running? I can see a blaster Dr. Strange or Phoenix messing up your Torch. I was running blaster WC Phoenix last season and actually looked forward to any bruiser I encountered. I haven't started PvP yet so I'm not sure what trends there are (if any).

How'd you guys like Playdom's announcement today: "Beast's skills MAY be great for PVP..."

I am not a Playdom-basher, but it sounds like they're not even sure what is working in PVP right now!

That's also one of the 70 energy epic missions... worth running for sure! Thanks for the tip.

Haha grats, I got mine on the first try as well.

On single-boss fights during Spec Ops especially, I use Sue to Force Cage, have Agent go crazy with the Doombringer and my remaining hero as the item spammer (to restore Stamina and for Quartermaster bonus). Hahaha.

Maybe that's why they use Emma to advertise the gold sale... mind control?

Nothing wrong with supporting the developers of a game you like!

P.S. That Doombringer strategy is pretty wicked. Great to check your enemy's stats after you have drained them a few times! :)

You may be on to something with Emma, they used Jean at one point too. They also used Herc though... and I think he only appeals to a certain demographic.

OK, I got a Sonic Fist on the ol' luck of the draw and just tried it out... AWESOME. That thing is sweet! The description of the buff is a bit misleading... it actually gives "Seismic Feedback" to your whole team. Doesn't deal as much damage as my Golden Tyrant Blade, but I think it may be my go-to "attack one foe" weapon until my levels don't match up anymore.

So it has been a good week... Dark Sigil, Doombringer, Sonic Fist... so many cool toys! My Roar of the North and Barrowguard are just collecting dust. I won a Touch of Flame and Shadow and haven't even tried it because this other stuff is obviously much better.

Seismic feedback is tied to attack power, so an enraged Hulk can do a ton of damage.

    True but it's Playdom! D:

Oh well. Can't wait to recustomise my Phoenix weapons when I hit the level cap. :3

Check the forums, they are rolling out a system where you can pay Gold to revamp outdated Customised weapons to your current level.

Of course you have the usual Playdumb is greedy cries, which, lol.

    Oooh... that interests Chari.

Much better than having to pay for a new weapon at your new level. I could update my set.

To bad my stuff from way back in Spec Ops 1 or 2 have ended up sold, or put into my Armory over the course of time. I dont have all the weapons anymore because they were far out leveled.

time to grind to 300 and spend all the gold on revamped phoenix set heh

Thinking of switching my pvp team around from Frost/SW/MockingBird and thinking about some new options :

    Grey Suit Black Widow (Tactician)
    Claws Black Cat
    WC Phoenix (Blaster? Infiltrator?)

I'd be willing to try those as they wouldn't put a dent in my CP as much as say, blaster modern thor. What partners would be good for those 3? Just keep Frost? With my present hero bonus/gear I dont think I can hang in adamantium, as I'm only currently leveling up my heroes to lvl 9.

Emma/Scarlet Witch for me is rolling the dice to victory, and I already play d&d games on weekends so
