PVP Combo of the Night: Infiltrator White Crown Phoenix and Bruiser Torch. Torch sometimes evades ranged and punishes melee, which makes him a perfect target for Mind Link, especially if some Scrappers are lurking on the other team.

It would go better if I finished up the missions that yielded the Golden Phosphorous Pang, as hitting the whole opposing team with burning is the perfect set-up for Torch to go on a romp of destruction!

    Oooh, interesting pairing.

I'm trying Black Panther and Phoenix Emma with a Bruiser Agent. I was doing Infiltrator Emma, but there are too many Ghost Riders out there.

Use one of the buffers( White Phoenix Jean, Agent with Hoarfrost, Phoenix Emma) with a Rogue. Ran into one earlier. My god was it annoying. I won cause it was Infiltrator Emma and had Ghost Rider.

Either I got lucky or I hit on a good combination. I'm pretty solidly in Diamond right now. If I can get to Adamantium without paying money, I'll be a happy boy.

Or try Dark Sigil... that might be even better!

You should have no problem getting to Adamantium... it's staying in adamantium that gives people the apoplexy.

    Default The waiting game

    Waiting...

...on spec ops 6 so I know where to spend my decent little CP stash.
...on accumulating enough silver for the final PvP expansion (and then for the research to complete) so I can feel confident joining the PvP tourney at level 152. This is the first time I've waited to join the tourney and it feels a little weird.

In the meantime? Lots of Mindless Ones get these guys leveled up!

I'm really surprised it's taken so long for Spec ops 6 to show its head around.

also, Rogue is a great counter for Valkery's can't die shenanigans. Kree speed + Bruiser class, means Val will die one way or the other.

All I got last time through was this lousy refresh prompt!

Also, I'd bet a five bill we get a new Spec Ops and or hero or alt tomorrow.

I fought my third Psylocke except the Agent didn't win the PVP tourney... Strange.

Are those sais any good, or are you just collecting?

What about Power of Four and Doombringer... are they worth it to farm?

    Opinions?

PvP, I'm coming for you... soon...

Power of Four was a fad and is pointless now that the name of the PVP game is no longer one-shotting. At the time you could conceivably kill the entire opposing team with four turns of your Agent with something like a powered up Phoenix weapon. Now, not only are HP higher, but there is all the death-proofing.

I feel that PVP agents should be equipped with one every turn weapon, one cool-down weapon, one cool-down gadget, and one of some other thing that either has a cooldown or is a quick action. Otherwise the PC will just spam the wrong stuff over and over when it controls your team.

PS: My Inf. WC Phoenix and Bruiser Torch got SLAIN overnight - 9 losses of 10 fights. Interesting, since I usually go about 50/50 with Blaster Torch. Bears some further investigation - is it having a Bruiser that makes me easier to kill, or was it the tinkering with my overall hero classes?

I'd go for the Doombringer IMO. It's amazing on tougher boss fights, although time-consuming.
