Okay so I am now at level 26 and am loving this game and its old-school RPG charm. Had three days laid up out of work after nearly breaking my ankle so I had a lot of time to play. Man, I run out of energy too fast! I am working my way up towards getting Captain America (an all-time fav!) so I am glad to hear/see that he's quite good apparently.
Currently I am rolling with a lvl 6 Doc Strange and lvl 6 Iron Fist as my go-to-guys. I've also found a lot of benefit to keeping my agent a Generalist as it prevents him from getting exploited by someone elses class advantage especially because I use the Aegis and Jet Injector on him so he can run interference for Fist & the Doc. This team has been really fun so far because of its raw healing capability but I am anxious to get Cap!
I fully support Quentin Quire for the office of Phoenix in 2012! Kid Omega and the Phoenix! Only together can they burn it! Burn it all!
So far I've got:
Level 11- Hawkeye
Level 8- CAP(ready to train), HULK(ready to train), IRON MAN(ready to train)
Level 7- Thor, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk
Level 6- Spider-Woman, Daredevil, Iron Fist, War Machine, Black Widow
Level 5- Spider-Man, Invisible Woman, Wolverine, Shadowcat, Dr. Strange
Level 4- Black Panther
Level 3- Cyclops, Black Cat
Got 4 stars left.... and I'll have Mockingbird too
PULL: Hawkeye, Star Wars, Daredevil, Batman, Secret Avengers
Is the molotov I the best offensive item?
Ororo Munroe: I have no powers, my body cannot fly. But I no longer mind, for in my heart and soul -- where it truly matters -- I soar higher than the stars!
Might as well post my roster, this will be accurate as of training being completed in the morning
Agent Level 131
Level 12: Thor, Captain America, War Machine, Invisible Woman, Iron Man
Level 11: Hulk, Iron Fist, Spider Man, Black Widow, Daredevil (All ready to train)
Level 10: Mr. Fantastic, Storm, Phoenix, Sif, Human Torch, Spider Woman, Wolverine, Thing, Luke Cage, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Dr. Strange (All ready to train)
Level 9: Mockingbird, Black Cat
Level 8: Cyclops, Ms. Marvel
Level 7: Colossus
Level 6: Nightcrawler
Level 3: Kitty Pryde
Still to recruit: Black Panther (81 Command points and counting down)

Okay, finally got the Gold from the gold sale, so bought a souped-up generalist trench coat and some refined unstable ISOs. Kinda gutted I missed the isotope cannon though. Anyone reckon the quantum jumper is worth the gold, or should I wait and see if any more limited weapons come out?
Also, on the 7th chapter now and I really want to do the premium mission but can't justiffy spending 33 command points on getting the Human Torch, who I hate. Reckon it's worth it, or should I save them for a new hero?
Also, here's my roster:
lvl 12 = Spider-Man and Wolverine
lvl 11 = Cap and Hawkeye
lvl 10 = She-Hulk, Black Widow, Hulk, Pheonix and Iron Man
lvl 9 = War Machine and Dr. Strange
lvl 8 = Mockingbird
lvl 7 - Black Panther
I keep labouring the point, but Black Panther is crazy good. Got his panther stance activated and took down a full-health Thror in one move.
Ah hate U, Mockingbird!! I run out of Iso-8 before acquiring you~!
Might as well post my roster:
Level 12 - Iron Man, Black Widow,
Level 11 - Phoenix, Black Cat, Ms. Marvel, Sif
Level 10 - War Machine
Level 9 - Hawkeye
Level 8 - Invisible Woman, She-Hulk
Level 7 - Hulk
Level 6 - Dr. Strange
Level 5 - Cyclops, Iron Fist, Kitty Pryde, Thor
Level 4 - Spider-Woman
Level 3 - Captain America, Luke Cage, Thing
Level 2 - Mr. Fantastic, Mockingbird
Level 1 - Spider-Man
I'm trying to decide if I should get Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler or Daredevil since I have enough Command Points for one, or if I should continue saving to get Wolverine or Black Panther. Ultimately, I will get everybody.
Read about the greatest series ever, Alpha Flight...from the beginning!
I've not been enamored with the limited weapons - they seem customizable which means their power level is set at the level you buy them at - and apparently that means that as you continue to grow - the weapon gets weaker. If you're into PvP - then I guess its ok - I personally am passing on those types of weapons and focusing on upgrading my armor stockpile and unstable ISO. Got the trench coat for the tactician, infiltrator and generalist and already filled each with 4 refined chaotic ISO chips each - will eventually fill them out but want to restock my gold supply first.
Never Surrender
