    Similar, but not quite. Death was a skeleton with a black cloak. The figure on this cover has flesh and horns. It could be the two are related somehow, though. I know when I looked at it, I too immediately thought of Death Riding an Elephant.

    Oh yeah I know it wasn't exactly the same figure, I just mean generally are they the same spirit representation. Do you think maybe its going to be a reference to that painting.

    The symbolism of the lamp behind HB's head, looking like a halo from an old painting, struck me immediately. Also, he has a small flower in his left hand. A golden lily, perhaps? Little bit of foreshadowing?
