    Default The Best Amateur Covers

The web is full of people playing and singing covers of popular songs some good some not so much. Here's a chance to post some of your garage band type covers. I am not looking for major artists, I am not looking for the "cute kid", I am not looking for the play/sing along with the record. OK, what am I'm looking for? Glad you asked. I'm mostly looking for people with some talent. Solos are ok as long there's no record involve. One man bands are ok as long as they are really playing the instruments. Groups playing anywhere is ok. Collaborations are most welcome. I suggest only posting once in a 24 hour period.

I'll start off with a collaboration cover of G'n'R's Rocket Queen

    Default Cousin Alika Entertains

It's going to be hard for me to participate here, since these type of things are not my cup of tea.
Don't get me wrong I love undiscovered talent, but sorting through the ones that aren't is a tedious task.
That being said, on our Hawaiian vacation we attended the Germaine's Luau. While the Luau was great by itself the bus ride back from it was the prize entertainment --I didn't expect. Our host pulled out his el. ukulele, and made the evening unforgettable. This video (taken fairly recently) attests that he is still doing this. If you are in Hawaii, make sure you visit the aforementioned Luau and ask for Cousin Alika's bus. You can thank me later.

Does that mean I can't post my cover version of "Slovenska"?

Default Street musician plays railing like a flute

I'll assume this is for real.
In which case he has more talent in his little finger than most people have in their entire body.

BTW: Miss Fantastic does that answer your question about instrumentals

DAMMIT. I cannot find this amazing cover of Nick Cave's "God is in the House". I don't know how "amateur" the band was, but it was one of the best damn cover songs I have ever heard. Amazing video, too.
I cannot even remember the name of the band.
    Freaking hell.
