looks like war machine armor to me. but i guess it could be that tool Detroit Steel.
Ezekiel Stane!
Matt Fraction interjects himself into the book and takes over as Iron Man. Tony Stark has to fight his writer for control of the book.
It looks kind of like the Tron suit Spider-Man wore during "Big Time" Is Peter Parker going to take over for Tony Stark, thus fulfilling what was foreshadowed before Civil War?![]()
That is got be one of the stupidest and uglies looking armors I have ever seen. I don't see tony really not being iron man. Well maybe at least in public again. Seriously stupid to be some random for even long time in armor again. That never works. I say rodney but looks like he won't be any shape for that.

Q.: How can you tell when Dan DiDio is lying?
A.: When you see his lips move.
If I were writing it would be Amadeus Cho.
But My ideas are too radical.

So now Iron Man sports an Omnitrix?
Axel Alonso has proven repeatedly that he's a more interesting guy to interview than Quesada was when he was doing his Cup O' Joe. No offense to him, but I find these articles with Axel to be much more entertaining.
I think the comparisons between AvX and Civil War set the bar pretty high. Civil War was really a game changer for Marvel. It took heroes and pitted them against one another that was beyond your typical rivalry, plot, or what not. There was a philosophy behind why the heroes were fighting each other. AvX doesn't look to be that deep at the moment. It's a struggle over saving the planet from the Phoenix Force. It's much more basic in that sense and I hope Marvel does something to maybe give it that extra dimension that Civil War had. One of the reasons Fear Itself sort fizzled was that it was too much fighting without much purpose behind it. In Civil War you really got a sense for what these sides were fighting for. AvX has the promise to match that kind of impact, but like I said Civil War set a pretty high bar.
As for the new Iron Man, I really don't care who it ends up being so long as they don't kill off Tony Stark and put a Miles Morales type replacement in the mix.
