so if this whole Valiant thing a continuation of the stories from the ninties or is it a complete revamp starting from day one? As in are these connected to the back issues or are these characters starting from the very beginning come the spring?

I think they're all reboots of the properties and not just relaunches.

So far they're looking really good though.

Wow. Valiant is doing some good things. Love Dysart - his Unknown Solider is one of my favorite comics ever. Excitement brewing.

Another great writer-artist team on a Valiant relaunch. I was already going to pick up XO, but everything I have seen/read about this today makes me want to read Harbinger NOW. Looks awesome.

I would expect Bloodshot and/or Rai to be the next books announced. Then maybe Shadowman? Not sure if Archer and Armstrong can or should be rebooted, but it would be a nice addition to the new Valiant Universeas well.

I'm down to one Marvel to make room for the Valiant and Extreme relaunch.

Ditto. Down to Defenders from Marvel and Demon Knights from DC. Too many good books out there to waste money on the overpriced 20 pages of mediocre the big two are producing. Kirby: Genesis, Valiant, Extreme. It's a boom time for the little guys.

I'm not sure if they own the rights to Rai or Archer and Armstrong. Those IIRC were among a few properties auctioned off a few years ago; not sure if Valiant got them back. I hope so. I also want Ninjak and Doctor Mirage, among others. Armorines and maybe a Geomancer title would be nice too. And Random House, you're not using Magnus or Solar, sell them back!

Meanwhile, are they going with a new comic reboot every month? So June for example would have two Valiant releases, XO and Harbinger? And presumably July would have three, whatever the next one is?

I thought Valiant got everything back that wasnt Gold Key? It really does suck that Solar and Magnus are no longer a part of the univese - those are huge losses. Bloodshot will likely be the 3rd title.

This is the group that purchased all the rights to Valiants characters and library. The only characters they do not have rights to are the Gold Key: Solar, Magnus and Turok. I have also read mixed reports about whether they can publish Quantum and Woody. But all of the original Valiant inverse is theirs.

They don't need Solar or Magnus, this is a good chance to move forward with your own characters and to start fresh.
