Glad to see Luke Cage in a major position for AvX. As an African-American, Husband/Father, and premier Avenger, I glad Marvel is giving him a chance to shine in AvX. (Now if only they'll use Patriot more...)

Not when the Phoenix is about to raze the planet.

I still think 12 issues across 5 writers is way too much though.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

You don't know this and the Avengers are rather ignorant about it in those previews. Which again is why I ask, No time to talk? Only act?

Glad to see Luke Cage getting big coverage for this event. Hopefully he'll have a large role in the event itself! He's been largely ignored in most of the event-books so far.

It's Tom Brevoort's wording, regards Cap; "He'd happily sit down and discuss matters with Cyclops at length if he had the time -- but he can't afford such niceties with the fate of mankind at stake. He has no choice but to act."

Any word on where Prof X is going to be or is he relegated to the crazy grandfather role that the family hides? Or will he be the game changer at the end of the series and become relevant again?

One thing I do hope get refrence a lot in this series is Civil War, because no matter who wins the fights, the earth is still doom anyway.

I'm definitely enjoying these interviews, and think it's an excellent idea. I'm glad to see Luke getting some face time. Bendis has done a crazy good job guiding him from the way the stuck-up, pain in the ass he was in Daredevil, to the hard-nosed, pain in the ass leader of the New Avengers. :)

It looks like Cullen Bunn really does understand Wolverine. I was worried when I heard that Jason Aaron was leaving the book...but now I'm relieved. I knew that Bunn was a good writer, but understanding the characters is essential. I'm confident that he'll do the book justice now.

    Alright! Good for LUKE!!
I'm loving the emphasis put on these 4, and the interviewees are nailing them , characterwise.
    This is reassuring, for sure.

I don't see how Steve could not see this coming especially after the MRA, Disassembled, HoM, Civil War, the SHRA and the diminishing mutant population. It's his job to know these things. Someone should be informing him of these t hings. Hell Wolverine and Beast are on are on Avengers teams and they should have been talking to Steve about alot of mutant issues and concerns. And categorizing the Avengers as Gov't agents does them a major disservice. They are more than that and I hope after this thing is over that they break their ties to the Gov't.

Luke Cage's role in this is something that bears watching. It's logical he would be one of the Avengers most sympathetic to mutants and their situation. But how much spotlight will he get in t his? I don't have my hopes up for him and his role.Wolverine can go either way as far as I'm concerned. This is going to be a Steve vs Scott thing all the way through. I just fear that there will be gross mischaracterization throughout this event so that they can create this conflict.

I share your same fears about the mischaracterization.
Also: Epic FAIL on Wolverine's and Beast's part for NOT having brought up the issue of Mutant Tolerance, etc. Effing Failures.
