I hope in the aftermath of all of this that some of the X-men are thrown in jail.
Also that Cyclops loses all of his former support in the X-men and that Wolverine separates himself from the X-men for a while.
Yes
No
Would enjoy it more if it had more feats
Jean Grey

I give any of those thing happining about a one in 1,000,000 chance, do you know how well Uncanny sells?
I think for all practice purpose Wolverine won't be a X-man for a while and will continue as a Pariah for a while then he will be back. If you have not noticed nobody pays for wrongdoing in the MU, Stark and Carol are Avengers and they hired Hill and Hand.
Pain shared is divided, joy shared is multiplied
Gambit better school Cap, that's what I say.
DROKK IT!!
Quick question is Hope the next Phoenix or Iron FIst? Because seriously Marvel is going everywhere and nowhere with this event.
I just wanna see Wanda jump in front of the Phoenix just as it's about to sneeze and say "No More Phoen--" UHHH CHOOO! Maybe they'll cancel each other out
All I know is that there is a new issue of New Avengers coming out this Wednesday, which basically means these boards are going to be swamped with Fongi questions and theories and it's going to be a big ol' bummer.
I agree with most of this. Scott is not going to end up in jail and will not lose his followers. Uncanny sells terrifically well and Marvel isn't going to slay that golden goose. But Wolverine and The X-Men also sell just as well, so i think it's likely that Logan will remain an X-Men as well (only there will be two X-Men teams; one that actually calls themselves the X-Men (Uncanny) and one that is the X-Men in the name of the book only (WaTXM)).
What should happen is that Wolverine should be dropped from the Avengers. Still, the success of the Avengers movie notwithstanding, the authors of the Avengers books will keep him around because he helps sales. Also because he's awesome (I know he's a traitor and is way over exposed, but he's still awesome).
Poor Wanda. Male writers, Byrne, Johns, Bendis, have been using her as an epitome of the destructive power of female hysteria for so long now that her real personality has been all but forgotten...
While I enjoy Johns's writing for the most part, I have actually begun to suspect that he in particular may have some issues with women. I wouldn't go so far as to call him sexist - the issues could be only subconscious, for all I know - but the fact remains that he's written two deaths of female characters for DC that had a distinct... rape-y quality to them.
Interestingly enough, he actually undid the most disgustingly sexualized death I've ever encountered.

Wait she had a personality?! What was it like before the dark times grandpa?
All kidding aside you are right they probably could have done the same with franklin and blamed it on development. But Bendis, while not conscious of it, does not have the best track record for women.
I have never seen Johns write a woman character and am unfamiliar with alot of byrnes work.
Apparently something big will happen in issue five.
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
I actually liked Darkest Night and what Jones did with Green Lantern, but I'll never forgive him for a certain issue of Avengers he scripted - it was the one where Yellowjacket and Wasp were taking tie off in Las Vegas. First Hank performed some sort of Pym particle cunilingus on Jan (which was weird), and then Whirlwind killed a bunch of prostitutes in a really gross fashion (all done for laughs). The whole thing made me feel almost bad for being a comic fan...
I'm not sure I know who you're referring to here.
