In all honesty I will take 616 Rogue and

Mags any day. In AOA, Mags was her surrogate father, her mum Mystique

who is probably the same age as Magneto left Rogue in his care. Magneto

had 2 kids older than her. Yet he took her as his own wife, slept with her and

fathered her child. In our real world I believe we will call this paedophilia and

incest.

I did...in case you dont know the Rogue pics in this thread are from AOA and that was why I gave a comment on it . AOA gave us the worst love story in history which was AOA Mags and Rogue

So Bleeding Cool has anonymous sources saying that Brian Bendis is taking over the X-Men next. Bendis claims it's much crazier than that. More rumors will run! More guesses will be made! More fun will be had!

So let me put my crazy theory into the mix now: Following the events of "Avengers vs. X-Men," the two teams will merge. A new X-Vengers will rise from the ashes. Bendis can claim he's leaving the Avengers and not just writing the X-Men and be both completely correct and wildly misleading at the same time. It's a brilliant move. It is also..."crazy."

Brandon J. Carr on Twitter suggested that wouldn't happen because of the tangled movie rights. And I think it's the perfect solution to that. Sure, Marvel sold off the X-Men movie rights, but they'd retain the "X-Vengers" movie rights! Marvel Films can get the X-Men back!

Mike Escutia suggested that Bendis was making the X-Men into the Avengers West Coast. Given how Bendis has wanted to establish a west coast Marvel identity through his work on "Moon Knight," that might be a likely solution, too. Disband the X-Men team completely and turn them into Yet Another Avengers team.

See, this is what I love about the comics internet. Nobody gets hurt with wild speculation. We all have a good time trying to top each other's craziest theories. And eventually we'll find out and get excited over something else. It's the circle of the web. And it moves us all.

Well, I'd say we're going to get a full-on Avengers team, led by Cap or Iron Man; a full-on X-Men team, led by Cyclops; and a full-on combination team, led by Wolverine or Cap or Iron Man. Then there will be the satellite books, which may not change much, save for the X-Men kids and Avengers kids in Avengers Academy together. Best guess, if that does happen, is Utopia merges with West Coast Avengers (maybe that's why the Avengers Academy team was really moved there) and/or Westchester merges with NY Avengers. Either way, I don't like it. I don't want Bendis taking the characters I love, devouring them, and regurgitating them, then licking that up, and pooping it out.

I don't believe Utopia would merge with the Avengers.

1. As long as the mutants are on Utopia they have some form of Sovereignty.

2. Utopia would sink under the weight of Carol Danver's massive thighs.

I wouldn't mind if the Academy and JGSHL became affiliate schools. I think it would be good to show that although JGSHL is a Mutant oriented school- it's still a school meant to elevate young mutants/aliens/robots/mini demons and successfully integrate them into the world as responsible Adults.

Though how much of that will actually occur remains to be seen
