It makes me sad to read that...As Ennis prepares readers for the final seven issues of "The Boys,"but I am looking forward to how it all ends.

So is Darick Robertson coming back for the final arc of The Boys?
I seem to remember talk of him returning for the last issues back when he left the title.
Yeah, I would like to know that too. I mean, he has been off the series for a long ass time. I know that he took time off to draw the Butcher mini. I really hopes that he comes back on for the final arc.
Who's there?
Shame. The Boys was at its best with Robertson on art duties. Might have been a better idea to delay things a bit to let him catch up. Might have improved some of the boring middle section of the series as well!
In the latest issue of CLINT there's an interview with Ennis, accompanied by a column where he presents his chosen Top Ten among all his comics. He includes War Comics (Vertigo) and Battlefields (Dynamite) as the same series in one of the 10 spots, and he adds that he's working on more War comics for Avatar, but I can't find any info about this, unless he's refering to Stitched, which I don't think so. Does anyone know more?
Not really, except that Ennis is definitely not referring to STITCHED. In an interview of February 2011 he mentioned working on "A war series for Avatar, pretty much following the model of Battlefields", but that it was "going to take a while to come out." and a couple of months later he said "There’s going to be more war stories for Avatar and Dynamite".
What did he include in his top ten, anything surprising?
EAT GLASS, LAWMAN!
Nothing surprising, the usual suspects: Preacher, Hellblazer, Punisher, Kev, FuryMax, Crossed...
And thanks for the explanation.
No Hitman in his top ten ? Are you sure ? Did he actually like Crossed, Fury more than Hitman.....
I admire Ennis alot he is at his best when he is serious dark like War Stories, Punisher Max, Hellblazer or dark humor in Hitman.
I look forward his Shadow series alot. His last new series in Jennifer Blood was far away from his usual top level writing.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
Hitman is there too. I don't have the issue at hand (I've already buried it somewhere in my comics vault), and I don't remember exactly every single title, but it's a very unsurprising Top Ten, a list of 10 major works everybody knows, with a brief explanation by Ennis.
Did Heartland make it by any chance? That one's seriouly under rated.

I enjoyed The Boys for the most part, and i'm really excited to see how it all ends, but I must say there was issues where it dragged. Like pretty much everytime they go see Legend, man that is boring shit.
