He had no issue identifying himself as one. He's with them in Legacy as well.

Everybody but Bendis is using him, gage, brubaker. Even Loeb

Honestly, I think it's fair to call him a side kick because they aren't really equals but that's splitting hairs to me. Call it whatever you want, I think he's just around when Cap asks him to give him a hand.

As far as Bendis not using him on the Avengers... frankly that's the norm. Since his initial run on Avengers (where he left and made it clear he wasn't all that interested in being one), he only really rejoined the team in Geoffs run. Outside of that, he basically just helped out here and there. If you want to criticize Bendis for not using him on the team, then he's got a lot of company (good company quite frankly).

A stupid statement? Really? These are two of the top individuals of their respective company, Tom Breevort as we all know who he is, and Mark Waid as head honcho
of Boom Studios. But I guess the sales analyst that works for them that provides this information are stupid, let alone the fact that one of these individuals is a big wig
of one of the two biggest companies in the industry. No, these are professionals in the field whose primary job is the access the market and plan accordingly. Hell, Mark

But you fail to see the normal pattern here, minority characters get less chances, sure, but when they fail that all of sudden it turns into a big deal because..... there are less chances. But in the overall scheme they should be failing at the same as any other books.
