Nice interview. Spencer's definitely got my interest. We've still got a while before Halloween, but I'll be sure to pick up the series and give it a shot.

That is the best looking and creepiest villain design I have seen in a very long time. The glossy black eyes, like a shark, the large toothy grin with the contrasting red or white "fangs", and the white doctor's coat. Love the look, not too familiar with Spencer's work but I've heard good things. Sounds interesting enough, and I haven't been able to get that image out of my head all day so I'll probably pick this up.

Sometimes solicitations are crap. The first paragraph made it sound like it would be a rip off of Dexter. Here's hoping the true solicitation in Previews gets a more fleshed out description for those who don;t frequent these kinds of websites.

Looks like a good time. I don't don't Image very often as i find the artwork uninteresting across the board but if they keep adding these kinds of books to their lists then i'll have to bite. I'm down to 4 Marvel books from the 15 i was at just a year or two ago and though DC is taking my money, i think Image might get some with this title.

I'll be keeping my eye on this one. Rossmo is one of my favorite artists, but Spencer just isn't a very good writer. His ideas are great, but his execution needs a lot of work. Take Morning Glories and Ultimate Comics X-Men for example. Both of those comics sounded promising, but he's done absolutely nothing with them. I'll probably end up trade waiting this just for Rossmo.

After reading the article and taking a gander at the preview art, i have to say I'm officially impressed with this series. I'll definitely be picking it up when it comes out.

Ha, exactly what I thought after I read the first paragraph. Glad I continued reading the rest of the article. Morning Glories is one of my favourite books every month. I'll definitely try this out when it's out on Halloween. The art looks amazing and I love the character work Spencer does in MG, so that combo makes it very promising indeed.

This is the artist from Green Wake?

That's a red flag. I dropped that series because the art was atrocious.

I need previews, like, now. I want to love this comic.

Sweet! I love Riley's work (since Proof)... haven't been a fan of Spencer's yet, but hopefully this one will grab me. Can't wait! Halloween is a loooooong ways away...
No one responds to street art anymore.
People tend to respond to things like loaded guns in their faces.

    That and celebrity spokesmodels.

Same here. There aren't enough awesome bad guys nowadays. This one looks awesome!

Regarding Spencer, I read Morning Glories for a while in singles. Although I enjoyed every issue, it felt like it was never moving forward so I've switched to trades. It reads much better in trades.

However, Forgetless by Spencer was excellent.

Regarding Rossmo (Hi Riley!), he's the only artist that I will attempt to buy everything he does. Much like Bill Sienkiewicz, his style isn't going to suit every single comic fan, but those who get it, love it. Honestly, I didn't 100% enjoy Green Wake, but it was the writing that I felt lacked ..... something.... on that book (sorry Kurtis). It wasn't bad, it just didn't hit me like I thought it should (although I haven't read the last issue).

This sounds like something Snyder should be writing. I would probably enjoy it much more. I'll check it out anyway though because Riley is solid gold.
