Awesome - can't wait to see The Governor portrayed on the small screen
Bloody hell, that's an impressive bit of casting which is a good sign.
However the article is rubbish. Morrissey is hardly a 'veteran' actor unless we're suddenly calling actors in their 40's this now.

Well, he's been acting pretty steadily since 1983 according to IMDB. I'd call that a veteran.
This all leads me to question if we're ever going to see Merle again, as he was one of the prime speculative candidates for Governor.
Hmm, if they're already introducing the Governor and by extension Woodbury, then the end of this season is gonna be crazy if they plan on having the cast find the prison.
Pfft. I will bet any sum of money that the final scene of the final episode of this season will be the cast cresting a hill and looking down on the prison. They won't get IN it until the third season. But the presence of the Governor in the third season is a strong indicator that the show will be drastically picking up the pace - thus far we've suffered through "one season=one trade", and the Governor doesn't turn up until Volume 5. Faster pacing is SORELY required, and I can't see the show making it back for a fourth season if it doesn't pull its fucking finger out and get some stuff HAPPENING, and this is a big step in the right direction.
I wouldn't worry about it getting more ons with the ratings it's been getting. It's going to be weird seeiong the guy from The Next Doctor as The Gov'nar though...he seemed so nice. As to "gov'nar": why are these guys from the deep south being played by British actors?
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
