Thank goodness he answered some of my questions, although at least a one-shot of the Fantastic four tie-into the event of Avengers vs X-men would be at least interesting.

God Im so sick of hearing about AvX already and it's still nearly two months off.

It's like there's nothing else to tell but that doesn't seem to stop them boring us with every tiny detail.

would be great, he's done a good job on FF's cosmic associations.
Currently recommending: Daredevil, Mudman ( it's back!), Hawkguy, and FF. Can't miss!

I am heartened by Hickman's stated intent to delve more into Cosmic. Fantastic Four works better in that cosmic setting anyway (so tired of the whole family dynamic).

Hickman's great. Try Dark Reign: Fantastic Four - it's a nice prelude to his FF work but is also a great standalone read.

Maybe reading less comic book news would allow you to feel less overexposed to comics book news?

I think that was part of the fun of reading comics before the Internet, the feeling that anything could happen.

I do feel that over analysing everything before it happens can contribute to fans feeling jaded.

Absolutely. His Image work on Nightly News and Pax Romana are high points of the medium. He's one of, if not the best plotter in the industry right now and does some really thought provoking stuff with this themes.

I'd just rather read about other stuff. Other projects. New non event stuff.

Manic beat me to it but I highly recommend Nightly News, then Pax Romana.
Besides being great stories, I found both these books to be extremely creative & innovative in the way they tell their story in this medium.
