Urrrgh, if there was literally any way I could have got from Scotland to this, I would have. Can't wait for these announcements. Looks great. Any idea of the artist?

This is a badass character design, and I want to try the comic out based on this alone.

Why, Image? Why do you hurt so good? I'm running out of money, yet you don't stop putting out new series I want to buy...

So...Nick Spencer and Riley Rossmo?? Wow! Probably the most exciting of the announcements during the keynote, for myself at least. Huge fan of both guys.

Spencer & Rossmo is definitely a talented combo, but probably will be overshadowed by Grant Morrison + Darick Robertson. I wish them luck though, Rossmo is great but somehow keeps ending up on titles that don't catch on for whatever reason. (I hope his unique style isn't the reason.)

Haha. On one hand I'd play devil's advocate and say Riley's books really do catch on, Proof amassed 6 volumes, cowboy ninja viking and Green Wake got respectable runs beyond a mini series and so on. All in all, he has a ton of published pages under his belt now, more than a lot of people. But I do see what you mean at the same time, sadly most of those books have also had forced endings. He's built up a real strong name though at this point and I think with Spencer doing high profile work at marvel, Bedlam will do just fine. Sad thing is as well, I think if Proof were to return or even Green Wake that has just gone (Kurtis' name is making leaps as well in terms of pulling power) I think they'd see better sales but sadly when a book is put out to pasture thats it.

Your penis told you to get on a bus from Nevada to Ohio so you could sleep on the couch of some girl you met online. I wouldn't listen to it all that much, if I was you.
