(This is now a finished reviews thread, which means only that I've already read and reviewed all of it. Feel free to continue to comment on any aspect of these reviews or even to wax nostalgic for these series)
Welcome. The purpose of this thread is to provide comprehensive, issue-by-issue reviews of original comic book stories set in the universe of the first five Planet of the Apes films. This excludes the Dark Horse comics based upon the Tim Burton film, as well as the British Brown Watson and Argentine Mo. Pa. Sa. comics based upon the 1974 television series. Reprint and film-adaptation volumes have been excluded as well.
So we'll be looking at...
- 1974 Curtis/Marvel volume
- 1990 Adventure Comics volume and spin-offs
- 2005 Mr. Comics volume
- 2011 Boom! volumes
Should be Apetastic!
