Will your employer pay for them? My office pays for all my continuing legal education.

Yeah, they will cover the expenses.

It's the time that is going to be a drag.

That fee isn't so bad, I guess it just about covers admin. costs. How do these continuing ed. classes happen, anyway? Can you enroll at a nearby university, attend specific seminars/classes offered at particular times of year? Also, how many hours is each unit?

It's something new that came around while my license was inactive, so I really don't have all the answers.

But 50 minutes of instruction (minimum) = 1 PDH(professional development hour)

Sometimes a weekend seminar will take care of several hours.

At least they're not making you take the FE exam over again.

Yeah, I passed that in 1991. I haveonly been inactive for 2+ years since there was some overlap with the timing and my teaching job.

Got a voicemail last night from someone I sent a resume to through a job site. Didn't recognize the name, but I've been applying everywhere and my memory isn't what it used to be. They called again this morning, then left an email. Turns out I didn't apply, they just call everybody hoping to get a few rubes. While I am most definitely a rube, I'm not quite that desperate yet.

Unrelated note: 8 days. Might make it to ten this time. The light sensitivity is killing me, though.

I don't know why, but favoriute uncles and aunts tend to follow gender lines. Favorite uncles tend to be brothers of the father and favorite aunts tend to be sisters of the mom. I suppose it's Mom and Dad with no rules or discipline and just fun.
