He just finished a McDonald's Shamrock Shake. The drool is gross, but at least he has nice, minty breath.

Wow....OK, now that is definitely the best Doc Ock portrait since ASM #600 and his "makeover". Just awesome....though I am still hoping for a return to the more classic Ock look post-EOTE.

Sounds awesome. I get the feeling Doc Ock won't come out of this alive.

Now why didn't they put up a cool picture like this for the regular covers releasing in May instead of those boring "Everybody pose for the camera!" thing. This is supposed to be a big earth-shattering event, and we got that random pin-up.

Agreed. The moment the "Doc Ock is dying after years of physical trauma" plot was introduced, the look he currently has is what he should have looked like from the start, as opposed to when he previously resembled a mummy encased in a metallic diaper.. And as for returning to his more classic look after Ends of the Earth, I have an idea as to how that may happen.

Possible. But of course, one of the fundamental (and unwritten) rules of comics is "Villains never stay dead. They just get better."*

*Unless the villain happens to be widely unpopular. Like the Big Wheel, the first Kangaroo, etc.

    What about the GRIZZLY?!

Well in that case Doc Ock should go through a youth transfusion like the Vulture. Or have his mind transplanted into a more chiseled physique. Rather than the fat/doughy/pudgy one he's been sporting since his debut.

Well, that's where the Rhino would come in handy. After all, he's been having a death wish ever since his wife died. And Doc Ock, in spite of wanting to go out with a bang instead of a whimper, is still trying to find ways to prolong his life. So each has what the other one wants.

You know, I never really bought Rhino and his redemption because of a woman. So what if she died? There are billions of other women out there and people are interchangeable. He should have found a hobby or something.

Nice theory. It would most certainly work and, at the same time, bring about a truly tragic end for The Rhino whose existence has been fairly tragic as a whole anyway. Could happen; but, if it doesn't, still good thinking.
