What happened to the TDKR hype?

It seems there was lots of hype from May-November 2011 but now it all seems gone. Hell, there was a lot more hype than both years in 2010. It feels weird

There was hype when they were actually filming it because we'd get these spy pics from people near the set. Now that filming is over, we have to wait until the official hype machine begins, which shouldn't be until May or June. I mean, it doesn't come out until July.

There's really nothing to talk about of late, there haven't been any new tidbits released that would generate any hype in a while...and that's pretty normal.

well personally I was hyped until I saw the first pics of bane and catwoman

but that was around last summer so I haven't really been hyped since then

They should focus their advertising campaign on Catwoman. We had them promoting Bane, now it's her turn. Can't wait to see darling Anne Hathaway as a bad girl.

I wouldn't mind Anne Hathaway looking less like a horse and being a good actor, but we can't all get what we want.

I'm kinda sad to say that I'm looking forward to Avengers more. TDK, whilst good, was a pretty much just an action movie, with some outright terrible dialogue at times. I don't even like any of the Avengers characters much, I've seen no Marvel non-Xmen or Spiderman film, and it still looks groovier.

I will be waiting see how it does against avengers.

Even if The Avengers is the blowout hit people think it's going to be, there's just no way any film is touching TDKR.

The midnight premier is already sold out...
