Out of all the clips they could have shown, they give us THIS?!
Pretty mundane clip but Garfield really nailed the Peter Parker vibe.
I think that's the point of the clip, and holy crap does he ever. This is pretty much the PP I've always imagined. Looks, awkwardness, general level of acting.
Just caught Spider-Man 2 on TV and it's kind of embarrassing how Tobey McGuire fares. I was very aware of him "playing geek" the entire time.
What, were people expecting the best action scenes and emotional beats?...Not the smartest bunch.
They should have had Tobey Maguire play the doorman. It would have been like Lou Ferrigno's cameo in the Incredible Hulk when he wouldn't let Edward Norton into the lab.
UGGHHHHH.
It liked it better when it was Bruce Campbell
Cyclops ad portas
This one clip has actually done a lot for my opinion of the movie. Andrew Garfield just pulls off Peter Parker beautifully.
This is actually shaping up imo to be the better spider-man movie. (not necessarily a better movie mind you, can't say on that matter yet) But just everything about it feels like the Peter Parker and Spider-man I love from the comics.
It's amazing to me how much Hayden Christensen has learned how to be a better actor.
Free your soul and let it fly....
You fools! That's John Scurti, who played Kenny "Lou" Shea on RESCUE ME. That's one thing that makes that little clip awesome. The second is, he's the doorman for the building of Capt. Stacy, played by Dennis Leary, of course also from RESCUE ME. Pretty neat.

How many police captains can afford to live on Central Park West?

This movie is even less interesting than I thought it would be. Just don't care about the retelling of an origin the entire country can probably recite in their sleep at this point. New please.
