I really enjoyed it. The page perfecting (and then shattering) all those iconic Angel moments really deserves to be illustrated. It was a great approach to take.

I think I have some catching up to do on some of the more recent scripts, but from memory my personal favourites so far are countryfan's Gen X reunion, and the one that had Anole, Rockslide and Glob taking driving lessons. I also liked the script where Layla Miller called Wither "too withery". She absolutely does have the Marvel handbook.

Aw, thanks so much! I'm happy you guys liked it.

Hmm...I don't know about my top ten, but I have several I'd love to see get illustrated. The Chamber/Idie one was amazing, and so were the Illyana/Doug, Hepzibah, and Rahne/Doug ones, along with the Hellion story.

However, the amount of Doug stories BAFFLES me. He's a truly terrible character. One of the best things God Nocenti did was shoot him in the face and replace him with a chicken.

Is this her first issue on it? Do I need to read the nonsense beforehand?

So we just wait until the end of today to learn which are the top 10 stories?

What things are taken most into consideration when judging a piece?

Hey, Time_to_Zap, I really enjoyed your story. Heart warming and funny. I can actually see Bradshaw's pencils in my head, reading it.

Although, am I alone in wishing that Broo looked more like his scrawnly lanky original appearance from Astonishing?
Just curious. He was so cute.

I concur on both accounts. But I'm good with Broo either way. His head plate is getting bigger it seems. Is he growing this fast, or is it just artist interpretation?

Sorry to make everyone wait, I hydroplaned off the interstate early this morning so I've been dealing with that. The top ten will be posted shortly! I've received the choices from both panelists.

You okay? Hydroplaning can be really nasty.

    I mean look at him.
He's so effin' cute. And the distinct visual difference from his "brothers and sisters" adds to the whole "mutation" thing too, beyond his having emotions.

Yeah, I'll be fine. I didn't hit anything but I was stuck in a ditch of mud for awhile.

Ah! That's terrible! Are you ok? Hydroplaning is my new archnemesis, I've decided, due to the terrible Ohio side of I-74 that nearly kills me every time it rains.

    EDIT: You're ok.
