That kind of sucks. I don't know much about Sam, but I love Hickman and I'm really disappointed to see him leaving the book...Makes me a little concerned about the direction the UU is taking until he can meet Hickman's level of writing.

IMO it's going to be interesting to see who lands where bendis off avengers, Hickman off Ultimates, fraction off iron man and hints gillen is leaving uncanny after AvX. Interesting times at marvel. I am sad to see Hickman go

Brevoort confirmed that this "Iron Man No More" arc wasn't the last for Fraction. Fraction said it was the last act, but that could mean anything. It could just be that the big picture story he started in issue 1 is starting to wrap up. Though even if he is leaving, the first 2 "acts" have taken 4 years to tell, the 3rd act will probably last another 2 years.

I think Hickman leaving Ultimates pretty much says that he's doing Avengers.

Has Fraction off Iron Man been confirmed?

Not yet, but it does look like it by the end of the Iron Man no More arc.

Damn I am mad Hickman is leaving. Its like we got to look into the mind of a genius only to be laughed at by Marvel. So when they say Sam Humphries will be pulling the rug out of some characters does it mean he is going to kill them off?

I like the idea of this apprenticeship system that Marvel has going. It's a good way for giving a new writer a shot at a big book without sending them out there to drown.

Sounds like Marvel definitely has some big post AvX plans. Remender's schedule is being shuffled around and Hickman is leaving Ultimates? Hmmmmm.
