Wish they talked a little bit more about the cross over, but oh well.

Tomasi writes a decent Damian but otherwise I'm not yet totally sold on the series. As for the owls, Snyder's story bores me. I'm sticking to it hoping he will return to his previous heights (with Jock and Francavilla--maybe Capullo is the problem)
    This crossover might be premature.

I'm sorry, but that cover art with Batman carrying Robin through fire is all sorts of lousy. Faces all weird. Doesn't look as bad on the zoom-in; maybe it's just the thumbnail.

I loved Tomasi's work on GLC pre DCNu. I was really excited about him on B&R, but I found the Damian of the book sounds so different from Morrison's, it just lost me. I realize, he was a stone cold killer in training then and still is, but he lacks a lot of the layers that Morrison had. It's all too blunt now.

I like the idea of the conflict Tomasi has created, but the character just isn't that interesting in it. My two cents.

Boy oh boy! That image of Damian/Robin engaging Talon has me on a mega hype meter! I'm so very much looking forward to this DC Universe shaking event!

I'm also a history buff and I really did enjoy reading up on the French and Indian War and the American Revolution! This story arc with Robin and some sort of connection of a Emperor Talon from 1778 has really gotten my appetite whet with joyous anticipation.

I think it'll be great to see how Damian fights his negative upbringing in order to resist the dark side and claim his place as Robin!

Robin pretty much faces this Talon alone in a wall to wall action packed story just outside of Gotham. Batman has his hands full with all the craziness that Scott's throwing at him at Wayne Manor, and members of the Bat Family need to step up and kick some serious ass to try and help set things right
    Batfamily...ROCK THE F*** OUT!
