DC Comics has announced Becky Cloonan and Jhonen Vasquez have joined the roster of creators for "Beyond the Fringe," the digital comic based on the J.J. Abrams' sci-fi drama "Fringe."

One thing that I don't get and it hasn't really been explained anywhere. The Beyond The Fringe comics are numbers like 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B etc. and the A comics were 'canon' to the show ie. they really happened, and the B comics were 'what if?' type things, not really happening.
Yet 4A was What if? again. Peter is a superhero called The Pattern who has striking similarities to Batman, Walter is his Alfred etc. etc.
Does that mean 4B is canon again?Currently enjoying: Batman, Batwoman, Dial H, Detective Comics, American Vampire, Saga, The Manhattan Projects, Locke and Key, Atomic Robo, East of West...
