"What that meant was I had to find something that would work with where the Turtles were at in the overall scheme of things at IDW that also matched up with the kind of story I wanted to tell, and the end result is kind of a different take on another Great Old One."

I was going to aim towards ghouls with the sewers, but once I saw the pages, the imagery brings me to Shub Niggurath.

I pick up the Ghostbusters ongoing strictly for Jones.

ARGH!! I didn't want something else to add to my pull but ... c'est la vie.

There was a great episode of the TMNT 2003 cartoon where they encountered an alien creature that lived underneath Wall St. That episode had a very Lovecraftian feel to it.

There's a nod to that in this story.

Got the trade and got hooked on TMNT again. Ordered that big ass Ultimate HC and im like a fiend for all things TMNT now. Cant wait to check this out. The preview artwork looked fantastic. IDW has really put together some great creative teams for the TMNT universe.

Hasn't been THAT long -- the new book's been going, what, 6 months?

Anyhow. I've been mostly nonplussed by the new IDW series (do we really need another reboot?), but I loved Jones's work on Tales, so I'll be picking this up.

Would love to see something drawn by Harmon at some point. His art really blew me away.
