I don't know if you could really call that a fight lol. That was a fun sequence though.

That looks nothing like Sabretooth. Though I love the way that Hulk looks!

I wonder if they will ever explain Sabretooth's changes in appearance. Looks like he is overdosed in Banshee. Would make sense, the drug is composed of Fentanyl, Mutant Growth Hormone, Testosterone, and Dopamine. The testosterone alone explains the bulkier appearance, the unnaturally hairy body and the baldness. What makes no sense is him missing an eye. Shouldn't his healing factor regenerate it like it did to Wolverine countless times?

They were still canon during Kirkman's run, specially in the Date Night story arc. At least they make him more unique from his Earth-616 counterpart.

Anyhow, you can see his body hair is thicker. In Kubert's drawing it's thinner. He is slightly bulkier, he is inexplicably missing an eye he should have regenerated, his canines are definitely larger than they were originally (this goes back to Ultimates 3). It's like all of his traits were hyperboled by Maudiera and Adams.

    Answer is simple: different artists.

As for the eye, I think his healing power is leaving for some reason. Fits into my "Cable is actually Sabertooth" theory.

Okay, the different artists is plausible.

However, Cable lost his healing factor due to Apocalypse absorbing it. There has to be another reason why his healing factor is not working. He was not supposed to have scars, and yet in Issue #67 he has a nasty one around his neck.

I'm guessing it must have to do with Legacy or a side effect of Banshee. It would be a shocking twist if Sabretooth were like Vindicator and his powers came from the drug.

Correction, the Cable from THAT future had his powers absorbed.

But that Cable was still present day Logan before Phoenix reversed time. There is a theory that says there is no past or future, only present. The other two are merely illusions, thus making time travel redundant.

Anyhow, I love Art Adam's Ultimate Hulk!!! Gray Hulk has always been my favorite.

Oh god, please don't start that Cable from the future wasn't Wolverine stuff again. It was. It isn't open to interpretation, it is him. read the arc, it tells you it is him. We went through all of this before

I really like Art Adams art on Ultimate X, except what he did with Sabretooth. I really, really hope he goes back to how he originally looked in UXM. And I hate retcons with no explanation (something Loeb is quite guilty of). If he has lost his claws and healing power I want to know why but I'm putting it down to the claws are retractable and Ultimate X was just after Ultimatum and they eye was taking a while to heal

Jean telling Scott that that exactly two of his sexual fantasies about her are off limit whilst the rest are all OK. I still lay awake at night sometimes wondering what those two things were...

I'm going to guess at least one of them...maybe both...involved poop.

    My top five:
    5) Reed Richards, inhabiting Victor Von Damme's body, marches into the Baxter Building and takes apart all the Zombie Fantastic Four singlehandedly, without much difficulty. Van Damme, now in control of his body again, voluntarily enters the Zombie Universe to close the portal from the other side, likely sentencing himself to being devoured by the horde of zombified heroes and villains on the other side. How he later escaped to have his head somehow crushed by Ben Grimm like an overripe grapefruit remains to be explained. Aaah, Loeb. You're a crafty one.
    4) Peter Parker (Spider-Man) has the Kingpin cornered, and, unbenownst to said Kingpin, video footage of him killing a man, thus having the crimelord dead to rights. Spidey, however, has a few things he wants to tell him first, so instead of leaving with said video evidence straight off, he proceeds to launch into a series of fat jokes from a list he had pre-prepared right in front of the Kingpin, enraging him. Just a classic moment from a classic run on a classic comic.
    3) The Ultimates, reeling from the attack from within and turmoil created by Gregory Stark's machinations, and the subsequent changes in leadership from Carol Danvers to Nick Fury, are then dealt another blow when Captain America leaves the team, feeling responsible for the death of the first Spider-Man. They then have to deal, in the face of increased budget cuts, have to face mega-threats simultaneously around the world. Then they launch a FULL SCALE assault, complete with over twenty helicarriers, on the greatest of these crisis, the City of the Children of Tomorrow, which has quickly and mercilessly swallowed up half of western Europe, and slaughtered and depowered all the Asgardian gods. The City proceeds to decimate the SHIELD forces, presenting itself as a nigh-unbeatable foe. How will this conflict resolve? Stay tuned.
    2) Earth is down to its final hours, quite literally. Gah Lak Tus is in orbit and has completed preparations to absorb the energy of the earth to sustain itself. The heroes, led by Nick Fury, are down to one final play, a Hail Mary. And who provides it? Of course, it's the ubiquitous Reed Richards, playing hero this time, in a most astounding way. Reed comes up with a simultaneously brilliant and utterly loathesome idea (another hint at what he could become in the future, and now HAS become) to tap into the birth of an alternate universe at its critical stage, and literally launch the expanding energy straight at Gah Lak Tus. The released energy could injure or even kill the nigh unbeatable force, but at the cost of the entire universe dying at the very beginning of its life. The heroes tell him to do it, and he does, and it's enough to drive Gah Lak Tus off, but at what future cost? The Children say hi.
    1) Peter Parker is lying on a bridge just destroyed by War Machine, with a bullet wound in his side courtesy of his jumping in front of the Punisher's attempt on Captain America. He knows he needs to go to the hospital, but there's one problem: the Sinister Six, minus the recently murdered Dr. Octopus, are heading to his house RIGHT NOW. To save his family, Peter knows he must go, and he does, defeating the entire Six in a pitched battle (with a little help from Aunt May going gangsta and shooting Electro) before dying as a result of a truck exploding in his face, after the aforemetioned physical pounding he took. He dies, in the process saving Aunt May where he couldn't save Uncle Ben, closing the book on his story in wonderfully, poignanty poetic style.
The Amazing Spider-Man, Avenging Spider-Man, Venom, Scarlet Spider, Daredevil, Avengers, New Avengers, Secret Avengers, Avengers Academy, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, FF, All Ultimate

I have several of them, but I really really enjoyed watching Peter getting to a sense of atonement with what he considered his biggest sin. It was great to se him die smiling thinking of job well done. It's not easy to find this on comics.

One of my favorite moments happens during Issue #33 of USM. Peter discovers a secret room in his basement and in it a video tape of a picnic his family had with the Brocks. It was full of nostalgic sentiment, as if you knew these people and empathized with what Peter was feeling.

Another is when Hulk calms down upon seeing baby Peter Parker in Ultimate Origins #4. I've noticed this became a trend. Peter acted as Hulk's conscience several times and was key to calming him down.
