I'm guessing the comic was put out before that announcement was made....and on the BioWare panel, so much outrage yet no one says squat to them....I'm contemptuous of the consumers (especially video gamers) because they lack the courage of their convictions....spew all this vitrol anonymously and then act like everything is hunky dory when presented with the opportunity to make their displeasure heard

Nothing's gonna happen without a warning
God forbid people act civilly.
Honestly, have you actually read anything by the people protesting the crap ending, or are you just attributing fanboy stereotypes to everyone?
Ah, you mean the bad endings which you'd have to pretty much do nothing outside of the main storyline to get. Yeah, I don't count those.
Video games are getting focus tested, and have been so for ages.
And if you call fans protesting at what is widely considered to be a lazy, shat out ending 'being neutered', then I'm quite alright with videogames getting 'neutered'.
Lastly, people aren't asking for everything to be wrapped up neatly, or for Shephard to not die. Honestly, you still don't seem to understand the protests against the ending. I'd really suggest going on the Bioware forums or something.
+1.
And for the record, Vibranium, I like you as a poster in general.

and if someone stood up at that panel and was truly vocal about it, my opinion about the masses might have changed....that's all I'm saying

Yeah, people generally ignore the guys who want Casey Hudson to die. If you state your position in a civil, logical manner, and make a point of not sounding like an internet troll, people are more likely to listen to your opinion.
The movements on the Bioware forums, at least, stress that people need to be polite about this. I mean, their petition thing was actually centered around donating to charity.
