As a team, some of the visuals they've pulled off have been amazing. I was fully on board for the first few issues. I especially liked Batman's first glimpse of the Court, finding all those hidden rooms, each one with a different portrait of Court members. The story went off the rails after that, for me anyway. I would've liked more of that slow reveal of the Court, and whatever sinister business they've been up to.

I think Snyder's approach to the Black Mirror would've done wonders here. Introduce the Court, but in backups or side stories while Batman is running around solving other crimes.

So far so good. But I have this feeling this "Owl" storyline will lead into the Crime Syndicate sometime in the future in the new52, and Thomas Wayne Jr. will eventually come out originating from another "Earth."

I hope that Snyder wraps up his "Owl" run, and work on another storyarc by September. One year's worth of "Owls" in the Bat Universe can wear out it's welcome and readers can start to get tired of it.

I think that Snyder would be better suited to TEC-style stories than superhero stories.

Honestly my only problems with Snyder's Nu52 run is the 5000 Talons, Thomas Wayne Jr., and the last page of Batman Annual #1. The last arc derailed a little during NotO, but for the most part it's been interesting and well done.

Oh and Capullo has been rocking it.

I don't think Snyder is wonderful or horrible. He's done well enough to keep me reading, but not anything that's gotten me particularly excited. Actually the first part of his run on Tec was really good, but since then I just think his offerings have been average. A strong average, but that's about it.
