My jaw just about dropped into the basement when the shop manager told the guy that they weren't interested in his CGC 1.0 Detective Comics #35 because it was in too rough condition for them to sell it. Not to mention they told him it was only worth about $300 in that shape, which is maybe 10% of it's actual value. I bet a poll of random strangers off the street would literally come up with a better estimate than that. And that's the guy in charge of the store? Ridiculous.
