Woah.
This sounds ugly.
Schmitty's Evil Twin.
Damn, two well liked creators. Who do we hate on this time?
It's interesting that this still happens in todays day and age. You would think people would have learned something by now.

Now I know to whom Remender was referring on twitter the other day. I half-guessed Kirkman, but with the Remender-Moore connection and now this story, it's obvious.
I'm going to avoid taking sides for now, but my (admittedly unimportant) determination will definitely hinge on how the "but 'Kirkman would not be able to complete the deal unless [Moore] assigned all of his interest in the Walking Dead and other works to Kirkman,'" assertion plays out. Like someone above said, this looks to be ugly.

This is so disappointing... with all of the stories about creators getting shafted and conned out of their creations by Marvel or DC, to have something similar happen here. I don't care who is at fault, the fact that it's come to this, is just sad. Either Kirkman is a jerk and trying to hog all the credit, or Moore is claiming something he somehow doesn't have a right to. Regardless of which is true... isn't it enough "those corporate suits" exploit comic-book creators already? To have creators themselves come to blows like this... sigh...

I guess now that the McFarlane / Gaiman dispute is finally over, we need a new Image squabble to be duked out for the next decade.

I don't see this lasting THAT long. Two years tops. I don't think that the creators really what to put a black eye on the hit series (comic book and T.V. show). I see this being a la McFarlane/Gaiman out of court.
Who's there?
