Cool colors, but I think I'm tired of the same Avengers in a group shot.
Just a few more months to go, SB/DB. Once the movie hits it should start to die down some...at least the images of those six particular Avengers in group shots together, that is. Not the emphasis on A-list characters in general, of course.
I wouldn't hold your breath on that...
...but I'm with you. I don't find the Big Three all that interesting at all these days.
America /f yeah/...
[Level 1 antagonism]
Homer: Ned Flanders, I mock your value system. You also appear foolish to the eyes of others.
Ned: Well howdy, Homer! Thanks for dropping by!
[Level 2 antagonism]
Homer: Past instances in which I professed to like you, were fraudulent.
Ned: Oh well. I'll just have to try harder. Thanks for dropping by!
[Maximum hostility factor]
Homer: I engaged in intercourse with your spouse or significant other. Now that's psychiatry!
I'm normally a Silvestri fan. But I think that cover is just awful.
"I want to see beautiful people doing amazing things." - Grant Morrison
The flag is a beautifully absurd touch.
Marc Silvestri needs a Dan Green inking him. The composition is alright, and some of the figures are well drawn - Black Widow, Hawkeye (though maybe MS could have finished his foot?) and Iron Man; but this image desperately needs someone to spot blacks.
EAT GLASS, LAWMAN!
Looks good, has a 3 dimensional feel, yet the colors are messed up... and again I don't like Thor's costume. Come on. Chainmail?
Are Thor's feet coming out of the Hulk's shoulder? And he looks smaller than Iron Man.
Silvestri's normally pretty decent, but it looks like there's no inks and the colors look washed out.
Eh, it's okay.
Marc's art is usually more appealing to me but this doesn't really do anything for me.
I stay away from variants because of the cost but I'll be picking this one up!
