surprised how little attention the upcoming mini series is getting.....

PS- They hastily managed to work in a mention of Flame Princess in the first storyline (the episode introducing her came out just as these issues were coming out), but I wonder if they'll work in Finn's Demon Blood Sword that was recently introduced in the series. I think it would be cool if the comic did an alternate telling of how Finn got it.

I tried watching an episoide of this and couldn't. For the same reason I could never get into spongebob its just way too childish. All i like is some of the stuff on adult swim.

I think this is more of a fad then anything for people who have kids. This is a show my 3 year old nephew would watch i just can't do it.

Childish? Sure, sometimes, but there's nothing wrong with that (then again, several episodes have subject matter that's very sophisticated in a "do the kids even begin to comprehend what this episode is about?" way). Through whatever episode, silly or more dramatic, the very well done character relationships anchors the show.

Also: there are cool monsters and things.

Yeah a lot of the new stuff is just extremely stupid also. The main shows I watch are family guy, American dad, and aqua team hunger force. Those are the only shows I can stand the humor in.

also you might not know this but there are some dark elements to adventure time it's not as kid friendly as you might think there are some things in the show that are just weird

Honestly, it's not a show that's for everyone but It's an excellent animated series if you're in the right mind set for it. Well written, well animated, well acted. It's just incredibly weird.

if someone thinks the show is childish and that anything on adult swim is better written...then they have already made up their mind
