    Default CBR: REVIEW: "Severed" #7

Doug Zawisza gives the final chapter of Scott Snyder, Scott Tuft and Attila Futaki's "Severed" 4.5 stars, calling the story "terrifying and unsettling...memorable and impressive."

I don't agree with the ending notes of the review. The point of the conclusion of Severed is to plant the seed of fear in the reader's mind, not to ask for a followup story.

This mini was great, I really enjoyed it (for lack of better words), and the suspense was completely nerve-wracking. I would highly recommend it for someone looking for a creepy suspense story that has, ironically, a lot of heart, and pries into the deepest, darkest corners of your mind.

Well, they've hinted that due to the success of the series there would possibly be a sequel. It did end in such a way that a sequel could be written. Still, as is, the ending was pretty horrifying and I don't think they were trying to milk it for anything but one last scare.

    April I think.

I liked the ending. I'd almost forgotten about the scene at the very start of #1 so when they revisited it I was like "oh yeahhhh"

    Really liked this series...freakin' bravo!

I just wish that at the end of #7 they showed the picture he receieved, possibly a large picture covering the entire comic page. That would've been awesome.

Loved the series, but i just know that this would read better as a trade than on a month to month basis.
