So much about this book on the surface has me feeling very cautious about giving it a chance (Northstar, Karma, Gambit, and Iceman, even if occasionally okay in theory, are rarely awesome), but I'm excited to be proven wrong.

Liu isn't much for writing marathon displays of feats in her books so seeing this team kick a bunch of asses to redeem themselves for past ineptitude is off the table. This series is going to be X:Adults: Conversations on A Familiar Gene.
Though Karma might actually be the one to unlock that mental block keeping Iceman from proving his potential, however. She could be the one to show him his bug room.
