Well, at 45% off of 125 New Avengers will still be a bit cheaper at CGN but there is shipping to consider.

Hey, if I pre-order a bunch of things on Amazon in 1-shot can I cancel them individually later on? I assume so, just checking.

Yes, you should be able to cancel individual items in an order. Just be careful that the remaining items are still over $25 or you will lose free shipping (if you do not have prime)

I'm pretty new to buying Omnibuses, and I've recently been looking to buy the first volume of John Byrne's Fantastic Four in Omnibus format. Has there been any news on a second volume release date? I don't wanna buy the first one if the second one never comes out. Does Marvel usually wait a long time between volumes for things like this?

No news yet. As for the wait time, it varies greatly. Last year a second Claremont/Lee X-Men omnibus was announced before the first was even released. However, we've been waiting years for a second Uncanny X-Men omnibus.

Personally, I would say that when Marvel issues a "Volume 1" that is not starting at the beginning of a book and is easily completed by a volume two, that volume two is much more likely to show up in a reasonable amount of time.

(Also, not for nothing, all of the Byrne run is already collected in softcover TPBs.)

Do you omni experts think we'll ever get an X-Force Vol. 3 Omnibus? Its one of my favorite X-Men runs ever but I dunno if Marvel wants to put it into an Omnibus.

My guess is that if they do it won't be for awhile. They just released volume 2 and both vol 1 and 2 are over sized and sewn so there isn't any reason for an omni at this point. Hopefully we will get an Uncanny X-force OHC or omni soon. I'm dying to read that one.

Thanks! I was considering getting the paperbacks, but Omnibuses are just so nice, I think it's worth it. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any news.

The masterworks line had a $5 increase a few months back and now just jumped another $10.

The Premiere HC line are also getting increases of $5. Titles recently solicited at $24.99 will now be $29.99, $29.99 will now be $34.99 and so on

More in a thread over at MMM.

We pretty much figured $125 was going to be new price but there has been Avengers Vol 1, John Carter, Untold Tales of Spider-Man, Amazing Spider-Man Vol 2 etc.... still at $100.

Could Punisher and Secret Warriors be the last of the $100 price tag? Time will tell with the October to December titles yet to be announced.
Depends on how you look at it. Is a Silver Age omnibus three 60 dollar books (hardcover MMWs) or three 25 dollar books (softcover MMWs)? At the moment I already think the Silver Age omnis are too expensive because you can get the material for dirt cheap, in some cases as low as 45 dollars total brand new vs 60 (75 for Canadians) for the omni. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the MMW tpbs got a price jack as well to even things out.

Age of Apocalypse Omnibus is back down to 71 EUR at BD.com. (23% off).

Best deal in Europe right now, if people want to avoid gambling with the Amazon.com shipping.

Marvel Zomnibus is 55 EUR per-order (they also haven't updated to the $125 price tag).

    EDIT:

    - Avengers Children's Crusade is 24% off at 19 EUR shipped
    - Spider Island Companion is 23% off at 23 EUR

New Avengers Omnibus is the same way with a price of $69.89 discounted of the list of $100 instead of $125.

Prices will most likely be fixed in the coming days along with the Masterworks and Premiere increases.
Almost pulled the trigger on Zomnibus but cheapgraphicnovels sells $125 omnis for $68.75 so I'll just wait and add it into my montly cgn order. I know that I still have to front shipping but with the size of my orders it might as well be free. Plus Im not gonna play amazon shipping roulette if I don't have to.

I just pulled the trigger for the first time on my new purchasing strategy. I've only been buying absolutely cannot-miss new releases from Amazon (Lee Omni, UXM, UXF, Children's Crusade), and have relegated all of my other books to a once-a-quarter bundle from CGN. Less instant gratification, but at least 10% saved, which gives me room to fill in a few missed MWWs and minis.

I'm pretty excited, as part of this order will allow me to begin my long-await chronological-by-book story of the X-Men (I had been missing some pre-X-Men #1 mini-series) as well as my from-the-start read of FF!

Does anyone here have the Daredevil Visionaries by Frank Miller hardcovers by Graphiti Designs (the ones that collect the same material as the first Miller omnibus)? Are they over-sized, or premiere sized?

I have them on order (cheaper than the omni) and the specs all list them as 10x7

That's why I like to buy my trades every couple months cause then I load up from CGN. Usually I get at least six books because then it's only adding a dollar extra for the books. I would like CGN to offer free shipping if you buy a certain amount like IST but if you buy a lot then the shipping cost (six bucks is not that bad really) is nothing.
