well I decided to email CGN about Vol. 2 of Captain America omni by brubaker, to see if they will put some online. Well he said they will add them asap, well they did, but for 99$! Seriously? That's crazy.... Right? Anywhere else you guys would recommend to find it?

I guess I better get on my way to ordering a copy of Thanos Imperative, eh?

Yes, it's gonna be glorious for Cosmic Marvel fans! I really hope they release a DnA's Guardians Of The Galaxy Omnibus. Got all their Annihilation to Thanos Imperative stuff in oversized and don't want to buy GOTG in regular HC... And of course a hughe Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus, with all the Silver Surfer lead-up (all of it, not just the main issues like in the Premiere HC)

As I recall Thanos doesn't appear in Conquest, but he does appear in the original Annihilation (without his lassic outfit). Thanos Imperative is great, you should get it, but it's much more worthy if you've read all the previous build-up.

Is that really the reality? CGN are usually are pretty in-the-know about this stuff. Are we about to see a FF by Hickman Vol 3 style shortage of one or both of these HCs? I'm tempted to buy them both just in case.
All of my local shops are out of DD, and my local bookstore has no copies. Amazon has it, but a 1-3 week wait. instocktraces and a few other sites didn't have it at all. I made sure to grab a copy on the amazon marketplace recently for pretty cheap.

With Avengers 2 now in development, I worry about how they'll handle our favorite purple badass. He's a deep character. In love with death, though she spurns him. He is either below her or too good for her. He knows he can't be killed for good; she won't keep him. He's a genius and nobody can really outmaneuver the guy. He even works with the good guys sometimes.

He is in the following books:

    MMW Warlock 2
    MMW Captain Marvel 3
    Infinity Gauntlet TPB and MPC
Rebirth of Thanos TPB and MPC
    Annihilation books 1 and 3
    Thanos Imperative
    Infinity War TPB
Infinity Crusade TPB 1 and 2
    Infinity Abyss TPB
    Thanos: Epiphany TPB
    Thanos: Samaritan TPB
    Marvel Universe: The End MPC

Can't remember if he makes tiny appearances in Realm of Kings OHC or Annihilation book 2

    Any others?

He was not around for Conquest. Does MMW CM 3 cover 'The Death of Captain Marvel'? He was great in his small part in that.

So do we have to wait 3years for an Infinity Saga Omnibus Marvel? Are you really going to make us wait that long?
It has to be in the works now if it was ever on the list to be done.

Oooh, awesome, didn't know about this one! Thanks!
Marvel cosmic needs Jim Starlin back. As long as he is prohibited from using the word 'myriad' ever again.

I loved it, great story, but kinda purposefully ret-coned at the end but gives a very good feel for Thanos.

I REALLY loved Rebirth of Thanos and Infinity Gauntlet, along with Infinity War. The early thanos stories in Warlock and captain marvel I felt weren't as strong as thanos stories . They are great in their own right, but I think early 90's Thanos is the definitive work on his character. I also liked the modern stuff.

Also, I want to read Cosmic Powers and Cosmic Powers Unlimited. I don't think they've ever been collected. It's when Thanos faces Tyrant, I believe.

Can't say I'm surprised but it still makes me happy that so many are buying such a great series.

Bunn was announced as the new writer on venom with 23. SO we should see either on ohc or a small omni of 1-22 at some point of Remender's work I imagine

Plus keep in mind that it's not really just 22 issues. That crossover with Ghost Rider/Red Hulk/x-23 was labeled as #13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4
    So it's over 25 issues, enough for a $75 omnibus I'd imagine.

My LCS owner (well...online, but still...) said that Marvel is printing smaller runs nowadays and don't seem very eager to reprint.
It could be due to the fact that they want to put out different prints (tpb, hc, omnibus, ohc, ultimate tpb, etc...) of the same story/stories and don't want all the different printings available at the same time.

Just the other day I ordered this big@$$ 'Making of Star Wars' book in HC from Amazon; it's borderline OOP but suddenly they got 6 in, so I ordered one. Anyways, my point is it arrived yesterday, huge coffee-table sized book, packed in a smallish box with a few air pillows and that's it. It arrived relatively unharmed (thankfully), but I guess what we learned from this is that Amazon is not "picking on" Omnibuses; They ship all large and expensive books rather crappily.
