I saw the pre-color version of this and now the finished work looks great, especially the "He'll Go to the Ends of the Earth to Protect You" bit. Befitting for a Spidey epic!
I preferred the Amazing Bag-Man costume![]()
There's a blurry small pic of the suit here
I like that its keeping the red and blue motif. The other spidey-suits always seem to change colors, but this one seems to be more in the Armored Spider-Man sense.
I know a lot of people aren't crazy about all the suit changes, but I like 'em, for the most part. They always fit the story Slott is telling, and usually signify the kind of planning Peter Parker will go through to save the day, using his brilliant mind to design and craft new outfits. Plus, I think its a nice change of pace, visually, while still remaining distinctly Spider-Man.
Going off what we know, this page looks like its from ASM #682, the close-ups on our hero suiting up, before BAM last-page reveal of our hero in the new outfit, ready to kick ass alongside the Avengers, leading to the next issue here, 683:
I'm very excited ^_^
Oh dear, another new costume.
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
Hasbro must really be up in Marvel's grill about new costume designs for their Spidey toyline.![]()
I believe all that needs to be said has been. So here’s my two cents.”-- ScottMC, inadvertently summing up the Internet.
I'm always game for a new costume. I really liked those couple years where he was wearing both the Black and Red/Blue costume.
